SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – After battling to a 1-1 tie in regulation time with the UCSB men’s soccer team, the Mexico U-20 National Team outshot the Gauchos, 3-1, in a penalty kick shootout on Friday night at Meredith Field at Harder Stadium in front of a crowd of 4,188.

Freshman Tawni Martino scored the first two goals of her collegiate career, including the game-winner in the 86th minute, to lift LMU to a 2-1 victory over Denver University in the home opener at Sullivan Field.
