Recruiting class includes UCLA transfer Vasquez
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara has added its final touches to the 2010 recruiting class with the addition of forwards Gabby Okito and David Opoku have been added to the fall roster along with midfielder Christian Vazquez and defender Kevin Garcia-Lopez.

LMU brings in three
Loyola Marymount University women's soccer head coach Joe Mallia has completed his recruiting for the 2010 season with the late-spring addition of three more players. Incoming freshmen Marta Tena and Darien Pyka, along with sophomore transfer Rachel Fell, will add to the forward and midfield lines and bring the Lions' 2010 recruiting class to nine players.

UCLA inks ten, Bethel transfers from Duke
UCLA has signed ten athletes to national letters-of-intent. Joining the Bruins for the 2010 season will be Victor Chavez, Earl Edwards, Zack Foxhoven, Reid Hukari, Patrick Matchett, Bradley McIntosh, Kelyn Rowe, Joseph Sofia Jr., Andrew Tusaazemajja and Reed Williams. Also joining the team is transfer student Kyle Bethel, who played at Duke during the 2008 season.

UCSB to host Mexico U-20s
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara men’s soccer team will host the Mexico U-20 Men’s National Team in one of three exhibition games at Meredith Field at Harder Stadium this spring. The match against Mexico is slated for February 23 at 7:30 p.m. Portions of the proceeds from the match will help benefit the Haiti earthquake relief efforts.

O'Hara, Bunbury win Hermann Trophies
ST. LOUIS -- Senior forward Kelley O’Hara from Stanford University and sophomore forward Teal Bunbury from the University of Akron Friday night were named the winners of the 2009 Missouri Athletic Club’s Hermann Trophy, presented to the top female and male players in NCAA Division I soccer. The winners were decided by a vote of NCAA Division I soccer coaches who are members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Akpan, Bone, Bunbury up for MAC honor
CARY, NC---The Ivy League Player of the Year, the ACC Offensive Player of the Year and Mid-American Conference Player of the Year comprise the three finalists for the 2009 Missouri Athletic Club’s Hermann Trophy, the highest individual honor in intercollegiate soccer. The finalists were determined in voting by Division I men's soccer coaches who are members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
