Loyola Marymount University women's soccer head coach Joe Mallia has completed his recruiting for the 2010 season with the late-spring addition of three more players. Incoming freshmen Marta Tena and Darien Pyka, along with sophomore transfer Rachel Fell, will add to the forward and midfield lines and bring the Lions' 2010 recruiting class to nine players. BRUIN CUBS UCLA inks ten, Bethel transfers from Duke
UCLA has signed ten athletes to national letters-of-intent. Joining the Bruins for the 2010 season will be Victor Chavez, Earl Edwards, Zack Foxhoven, Reid Hukari, Patrick Matchett, Bradley McIntosh, Kelyn Rowe, Joseph Sofia Jr., Andrew Tusaazemajja and Reed Williams. SPRING SLATE UCSB to host Mexico U-20s
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara men’s soccer team will host the Mexico U-20 Men’s National Team in one of three exhibition games at Meredith Field at Harder Stadium this spring. The match against Mexico is slated for February 23 at 7:30 p.m. Portions of the proceeds from the match will help benefit the Haiti earthquake relief efforts. Complete story
